"Every watch we build is assembled with attention to detail and individually inspected before it leaves our workshop.
The Yellow Speed is one of my favourite builds — the bold yellow accents and precise VK63 movement make it a watch you will actually reach for every morning.
Thank you for trusting ZJani Mods. We hope you enjoy wearing it as much as we enjoyed building it."
There is a certain kind of watch that earns comments not because it is flashy, but because it is unmistakably right. The Yellow Speed Mod is that watch.
The yellow dial does not scream. It simply refuses to disappear. On a dark wrist, on a casual sleeve, it catches light and holds attention — the way a well-chosen car colour does in a car park full of grey and silver.
Wear it to a weekend car meet and someone will ask. Wear it to dinner and someone will notice. Wear it to the office and say nothing. That is enough.
You have probably owned a few watches. You know the drill: automatics are romantic but fussy. Cheap quartz is reliable but forgettable. The VK63 sits in a more interesting place.
It is a meca-quartz movement — Japanese engineering that combines quartz accuracy with a genuine mechanical chronograph action. When you press the top pusher, the sweep hand snaps away. When you reset, it snaps back. Instantly. Every time.
Battery lasts roughly three years. No service intervals. No magnetism anxiety. No setting it every morning. Just put it on and get on with your day.
The chronograph has two pushers on the right side of the case. Most men who own a chronograph have never used them properly. Here is the simple version.
Top pusher — press once to start the chronograph. The large central sweep hand begins moving. Press again to stop it.
Bottom pusher — press to reset the chronograph hands back to zero. Only press this when the chronograph is stopped.
The small sub-dial at 6 o'clock shows the regular running seconds. The large central hand is the stopwatch hand only — it does not move unless you press the top pusher.
Day one: it will look bolder on the wrist than in photographs. The yellow dial takes up space. Give it a week. By day seven it will feel like it was always there.
The sapphire crystal is genuinely scratch resistant in daily use. In normal wear it will stay clean-faced for years.
The rubber strap softens slightly with wear — this improves fit. Any standard 20mm strap fits directly if you prefer leather or NATO.
The Yellow Speed measures 40mm across the case and 47.5mm lug to lug — the sweet spot that most men have landed on.
