What is the VK64 movement?
The Seiko VK64 is a Japanese meca-quartz chronograph movement. It runs on a battery but the chronograph hands are driven mechanically — giving you the sweep and snap-back of a much more expensive movement with quartz accuracy. It's the same movement category used in watches costing $400–600.
