What is the Seiko NH35 and why does it matter?
The NH35 is a Japanese automatic calibre with 24 jewels and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. It is used as the base movement for watches retailing at $400–800. No battery ever — it winds itself through the natural movement of your wrist. If it stops, wind the crown clockwise 20–30 turns and set the time.
