Silver and black is the most versatile combination a watch can have. It works with a suit on Monday, a polo on Saturday and a T-shirt on holiday, and it never looks out of place.

The Silver Black pairs a deep black dial with a 40mm brushed and polished stainless steel case and an engraved tachymeter bezel. It's a sports chronograph with clean, balanced proportions: easy to read, comfortable to wear and built for every day.

Every watch is hand-assembled by ZJani Mods and checked by hand before it leaves us.

Design details

EVERY PART HAS A PURPOSE.

The dial

A deep black dial gives the hands and markers maximum contrast, so you can read the time at a glance. The chronograph subdials sit neatly in balance, giving the face a clean, sporty look without clutter.

The tachymeter bezel

The engraved tachymeter scale is a classic motorsport feature. Start the chronograph, stop it after a set distance, and the bezel shows your average speed. Even if you never use it, it gives the watch its sporty, purposeful look.

The case

40mm of stainless steel, brushed on the top surfaces and polished on the sides. The mix of finishes catches the light as you move, and the brushed areas hide everyday marks better than a fully polished case.

The crystal

A sapphire crystal protects the dial. Sapphire is one of the hardest materials used in watchmaking. It resists scratches far better than mineral glass, so the dial stays clear for years.

The movement

QUARTZ ACCURACY. MECHANICAL FEEL.

Inside is a Japanese meca-quartz chronograph movement. It combines two worlds: the time is kept by quartz, so it's accurate and runs without winding, while the chronograph uses a mechanical module, which gives the pushers a crisp, satisfying click.

When you reset the chronograph, the seconds hand snaps straight back to zero, just like on a mechanical chronograph. It's one of the most loved movements among watch enthusiasts for exactly that reason.

The battery lasts for years and can be replaced by any watchmaker.

StartPress the top pusher. The chronograph seconds hand starts running.

StopPress the top pusher again to stop and read the elapsed time.

ResetPress the bottom pusher. The hands snap back to zero.

At 40mm across and about 47.5mm from lug to lug, the Silver Black sits in the sweet spot for most wrists. It has enough presence to feel like a proper sports chronograph, without overhanging the edges of your wrist or catching on your shirt cuff.

The 20mm lug width means you can easily swap to a leather, rubber or NATO strap whenever you want a different look.

Will I pay in my own currency?

Yes. Prices here are shown in US dollars, but at checkout you automatically see and pay in your own currency: USD, CAD, AUD or GBP. The 100GIFT discount is applied for you.

Is 40mm a good size for me?

40mm suits most wrists. With a lug-to-lug length of about 47.5mm, it sits comfortably without overhanging, and the 20mm lugs let you swap straps easily.

Do I need to wind it?

No. The movement is quartz for timekeeping, so it runs on a battery that lasts for years. When it eventually needs a new one, any watchmaker can replace it.

What if something goes wrong, or I don't like it?

Every watch comes with a 180-day international warranty. If a fault appears, we repair or replace it. And if you don't love it, eligible orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
